![]() The most enjoyable part of the job was that my work was difficult, but clearly appreciated by everyone (my job wasn't simply to sell dresses like the other workers, my job was to clean and help them out, but I would sell dresses as well when needed). It would have been nice to have a set schedule. They'd have me on the schedule working from 9-5 and then I'd leave at 5 and they'd say "Where'd you go? We didn't want you to leave yet!" or I'd come in at 9 and they'd say "We don't need you here for another 3 hours," so I never truly knew when I was meant to come and go. Some would think this sounds awful, but I liked to feel productive and I was greatly appreciated. I would help with inventory, sell dresses, put dresses away and clean dressing rooms for myself and others, help with shoes and accessories, make phone calls to advertise or let people know that their dress has come in, and cleaned up the store.all in an hour and then repeat that for 8 hours. ![]() At David's Bridal I learned how to balance a million things at once and get tons of work done in a short amount of times. My past job experiences required a lot of work, but not particularly difficult work. At David's Bridal I learned how to really work hard.
